Privacy policy.
How Montvannah Capital handles the personal information you give us through this website.
Who we are
This website is operated by Montvannah Capital Pty Ltd (ACN 671 584 571), referred to here as "Montvannah", "we" or "us". We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where it applies, the Information Privacy Principles in New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us, and the basic technical information any website receives:
- Contact form and email: your name, organisation, email address, the subject of your enquiry and your message.
- Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or embedded social media. Please don't send us sensitive information, such as health or financial account details, through the contact form.
How we use it
We use your details to read and reply to your enquiry, to assess a proposed transaction or investment you have raised with us, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We use server logs to protect the site from misuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed to deal with your enquiry: for example, with our professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants) or with a party to a transaction you have asked us to consider. We may also disclose it where the law requires us to.
Our website and email are hosted by third-party service providers whose servers may be located outside Australia and New Zealand, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers protect your information.
How we keep it secure
Messages from the contact form are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and delivered to a private mailbox. We keep correspondence only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing enquiries@montvannah.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please email us first and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or, in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
